Make no mistake about it! There is a war. Though the warriors may not know that they are warring. This war is being fought between two classes of civilizations and by their creations, their number, their collective value and their contributions to enriching and improving humanity. There is no ultimate winner but in the short run the Eastern civilization seem to be all but defeated, lost and confused. But the civilizations of the east have all the necessary elements of winning. The West has provided the medium, and some tangentially important materials. But the East has not yet stood up for its rightful place in the history of 'now' and present.
In spite of all the talks of China and India, no new grounds have been broken here. The West has provided all the tools and China has provided the cheap labor and has dutifully imitated every thing that the West has done. The damage that this has caused and will cause to the limited resources of the planet, is uncountable.
The needs of people have to be met, that there is no doubt in. The capitalistic system has reduced every thing and any thing to one thing and one thing only, money. The concepts of trade , market, money, wealth accumulation and financing are very old concepts. Persians pioneered the invention of the banking system and financing. The word 'check' is a distortion of the word 'shah' from the Persian word for 'King'.
A new socio-economic order and a new financing scheme must be developed and the East has to stand up and get counted.
The Sun indeed rises from the east. It must happen now.
